Women inPower is a dynamic cross-sector fellowship program designed to help high-potential women+ advance to the next stage of their career. This one-of-a-kind program will provide approximately 25-30 women+ leaders in New York City with executive mentorship, educational training and workshops, and membership in an active community of women+ leaders.

Special announcement: In celebration of the 10th Anniversary of Women inPower, we are excited to launch a new cohort designed to support neurodivergent women+ leaders, recognizing and valuing the unique perspectives, strengths, and talents they bring to their professional roles. For us, a neurodivergent leader is anyone who self-identifies as neurodivergent. Many define neurodivergence as someone who learns and thinks differently, including those with autism spectrum condition, ADHD, dyslexia, and other conditions.

Participants will engage in the core Women inPower offerings—professional development workshops, 1:1 mentorship, and a supportive peer network—tailored to the specific challenges and opportunities faced by neurodivergent leaders, led by experts in the field. The fellowship also prioritizes accessibility, ensuring that all programming is inclusive and designed to accommodate a wide range of needs. Your response is optional and information about neurodivergence will remain confidential and will not affect your evaluation for the general cohort. It will only be shared with the selection team as necessary.

Applicant Criteria
Women inPower is open to women-identifying leaders across all sectors. To be considered for the Fellowship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• In upper-middle management or 3-5 years away from the C-suite or equivalent in her sector
• Based in New York City or the wider tri-state area
• Open to exploring new ideas and perspectives
• Determined in her professional advancement
• Eager to learn new strategies to succeed
• Willing to share her experiences and insights with the wider community of Fellows
• Committed to fostering a better workplace culture for both women+ and men+ as they ascend to positions of power
• Dedicated to participating in regular Fellowship events, workshops, and activities
  

The Women inPower Fellowship welcomes and encourages applicants of all nationalities, races and ethnicities, ages, sexual orientations and beliefs, gender identities and expressions, mental and physical health and abilities, and religious backgrounds and beliefs.

Please note that Women inPower Fellows cannot be employed, directly or indirectly, by 92NY.

Application Requirements
The application should take approximately 30 minutes to complete. In addition to the application questions, you will be asked to upload your resume and have the option to share a link to supporting media or your professional portfolio.

Applications for Women inPower 2025 will close on October 23, 2024 at 9:00AM EST.

Application Questions
The application is simple and designed to get to know you better. The five questions are:

1. How would the Women inPower Fellowship help you achienve your career goals? (250 words or less)
2. What are some of the roadblocks that might prevent you from achieving your career goals? Please share personal examples. (250 words or less)
3. Women inPower is rooted in a commitment to social good. How do you give back in your personal life, community, and/or workplace? (250 words or less)
4. What would you give to the Women inPower Fellowship cohort? What unique skills or expertise would you bring to the group? (250 words or less)
5. Please take this moment to share any additional information that you may not have touched upon elsewhere in this application. (250 words or less)

Selection Process
Final selection for Women inPower 2025 Fellows will be made by a committee of industry leaders. All application responses are kept confidential. Accepted Fellows will be notified by email in December 2024. The program officially begins in January 2025.
